LANDER strives for a tight core game mechanic and almost no additional features. The goal is to have a game that you can play when you have 5 minutes, or 20 minutes, and have fun even months after you played it the last time. I avoided all artificial addictiveness (through things like variable rewards or cliff hangers) so that you can play and then stop without feeling bad about it.
LANDER is as hard as you make it. Play it as a meditative experience, without worrying about score at all, or play it competitively for high scores or time-to-reach-score.
